How do you know where to start?

One of my favorite parts of traveling is the planning. I love to dream about new places, read about other wanderers' adventures, then start planning my own. But for some people I know, the planning is the worst part. So where do you start?

With the windows open, a cool breeze blowing in, and this happy little tune coming through the speakers, all feels right with the world. That's not always the case though - especially when unexpected challenges arise while traveling.
